About this photo: Last November, my dad and I celebrated our milestone birthdays by hiking the Annapurna Trek in Nepal. We hiked 100 miles through some of the most sensational scenery I’ve ever experienced. The Buddhist culture highly influences this area of the world and you could feel their magical presence wherever you went. This photo was taken in Manang, one of the most beautiful towns along the Annapurna Trek in the Himalayas. I adore how the colorful prayer flags whirl in the wind and light. It had recently snowed and was so insanely beautiful that my heart was on fire.
