About this photo: Depression blues often make me feel as though I am underwater. Sometimes drowning, sometimes just pressed down by the weight, but always hearing and seeing the world in a jumble that doesn’t quite make sense. It’s a dark and scary place to be, feeling mere breaths from drowning, and yet, although distorted, there is still light if you can find a way to look up.
This photo was created with two photos that I merged, taken underwater with a plastic camera in Florida, March 2012.
