Family of Hope
Photo taken by Jackie in California. She is mother to a child with mental illness. No matter how strong a family may be, mental health issues are difficult on everyone, not just the individual struggling. Family and friends can suffer terribly throughout the process as well.
About this photo: “This is a snapshot of my daughter who has blossomed despite the interruptions in her life from her sibling’s mental illness. Chronic Mental Illness can take a family down financially and emotionally because of it’s unpredictability and severity. Our family will not be defeated in life because what is the option?”
