Photos taken by Bipolar On Fire. In her words: “I am in my 40’s and I live and work in outlandishly beautiful Boulder, Colorado. I have Bipolar Disorder and Depression, as well as Fibromyalgia. It is a great struggle for me to work full-time and it has been for a long time. I work as a System Administrator and I aspire with all my might to leave the corporate world and live a creative life. I passionately love photography, writing, and music, and my many other creative artistic endeavours (sewing, decoupage, jewelry making, batik, screenprinting, and singing). My goal for 2013 is to leave my corporate job, thumb my nose to The Man and somehow begin to support myself through my art – I would give ANYTHING to be able to do that!! My aim in life is to create beauty and to bring joy in to the lives of others through my creations and words.”
About these photos: “These are such summer shots. I can feel the heat and smell the flowers, and I want to BE the bee! There is something so delicious about the purple, and to catch the bee right at the moment that it’s taking sustenance from a flower, it is all very sensual and stimulating to me. I just want to dive in.”
